Wisam Salih is a director and senior fellow
at the Council on International Policy with experience as a Security Analyst in
the Public Service of Canada. With an interest in security, trade, and the
politics of the Middle East and North Africa, he completed his Master’s of
International Trade (M.I.T.) degree from the University of Saskatchewan (2013).
Wisam sits on the Executive Board with the Canadian International Council
(NCB). He is an Alumni Ambassador of
the Center for Global Politics (CGP) with the Freie Universität Berlin,
having completed a Summer School programme in Jordan (2011) and Alumni
Workshops in Poland (2013) and Cambodia (2014). Wisam has written opinion
pieces for OpenCanada.org, Embassy Magazine, and given radio interviews for CBC
