Her primary research seeks to understand what a legalized international governance structure that could account for the complexity and rapid change of the Arctic could look like and how we can get there from here. Tahnee is a team member of a Finnish Academy research project on Human Security as a Promotional Tool for Societal Security in the Arctic; a contributing author to the Arctic Resilience Report (2016); and co-founder of Plan A, a platform that plugs into women's stories across the Arctic. Previously, she was the lead author of a Finnish Foreign Ministry project at the intersection of gender, climate change, and human rights.
