Malte Brosig is a Senior Lecturer in International Relations at the Department of International Relations at the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa. He joined the Department in 2009 after he received his PhD from the Centre of European and International Relations Studies at the University of Portsmouth. His main research interests focus on issues of international organization (IO) interplay and peacekeeping in Africa and norm evolution of R2P. Brosig is a non-resident Senior Research Fellow at the European Centre for Minority Issues and a Senior Fellow at the Canadian Centre for R2P.
