Gabrielle Bardall has advised on democracy and political violence issues in Burundi for over a decade for various international organizations, including UN agencies and international non-profits. She is a doctoral candidate at the University of Montreal, where her research focuses on authoritarian elections and the conflict in Burundi. She has worked on elections and democracy assistance in over 30 countries worldwide. Ms. Bardall is a 2012 Trudeau Scholar.
