Master of Political Science candidate at McGill University
Ecem Oskay, originally from Germany and Turkey, is a Master of Political Science candidate at McGill University and a fellow at the Centre for International Peace and Security Studies. Building on her previous studies in Germany, USA and Canada, her DAAD-funded research focuses on the linkages between forced migration, conflict and humanitarianism. Interning with MIGS provides her the opportunity to explore different mechanisms for the prevention of mass atrocities and genocide as underlying triggers of mass displacement. As an avid traveler, Ecem has lived and worked in five countries on three different continents.
