Brian Milner is a senior economics writer and global markets columnist at The Globe and Mail. After two years as an associate managing editor in the Report on Business, he became The Globe's New York bureau chief in 1994. Mr. Milner has since returned to the Report on Business, for which he writes a weekly column, Taking Stock. Throughout his career he has covered a range of topics in economics, finance, U.S. politics and culture, and media. Mr. Milner is a published author and a frequent commentator on radio and television.
