Professor of Political Science, past Director of the McGill Institute for the Study of Canada
Dr. Antonia Maioni is past Director of the McGill Institute for the Study of Canada. She has taught at McGill University since 1994, and is an Associate Professor in the Department of Political Science. She studied at St. Mary’s University and Université Laval, and earned an M.A. from Carleton University's Norman Paterson School of International Affairs and a Ph.D. in political science from Northwestern University. She has taught at the University of Ottawa, and has held visiting appointments at Columbia’s Mailman School of Public Health, Harvard's Center for European Studies, the North American Studies Program at Duke University, and the Robert Schuman Centre of the European University Institute.
