Ali M Ansari BA (Lon) PhD (Lon) is a professor of Iranian history & Director of the Institute for Iranian Studies at the University of St Andrews; Senior Associate Fellow, Royal United Services Institute; and Vice President of the British Institute for Persian Studies.
