Event Description: Canada in Afghanistan – what have we accomplished in a decade of combat? As we end our combat mission, what lies ahead for Afghanistan? For NATO in Afghanistan? Newly returned to Canada, General Giguère was the Deputy Task Force Commander of Joint Task Force Afghanistan beginning Sept 2010, and oversaw the withdrawal of the Canadian military from theatre.
